As a technologically inclined kid, it was a dream for me to wake up late, bathe when I felt like it, and just enjoy my meal; not rushing through everything in fear of the being late for school. Now that the pandemic has arrived, I have come to realize that while I am relishing this privileged daily experience; the majority do not. A lot of sacrifices are made every day, especially invisible ones like the declining physical, mental, and social well-being of four million children who decided not to attend the past school years. That is why, when I scoured the internet for scholarships, I thought out loud, “Imagine the number of lives I could turn around by simply sharing opportunities to receive free tertiary education.” A ripple-ful feat that could help families escape poverty. These typographic posters could help Padayun.Ko, my platform founded to compile and curate scholarship opportunities for Filipinos, in letting others know about its existence with the power of social media. I hope these rational reminders could help students and parents alike, especially those who are hesitant about attending the next school year.
